Personal objects

Every user in BSCW has direct access from anywhere to a set of personal objects whose icons are displayed in the navigation tree on the left side.

The personal objects cannot be shared with other users on your BSCW server.

  Your personal workspace ('home folder') is the folder accessible only to you, containing all the folders you have created and all the workspaces of which you are a member by invitation of other users. If you click on the icon of your personal workspace from other personal data areas (e.g. clipboard or address book), you will return to the one of your workspaces that you last viewed; only clicking on the icon again will actually take you to your personal workspace.

  The address book, your personal address store, is mainly used to invite new members to a workspace.

  The calendar is intended for your personal use. In addition to the personal calendar, BSCW offers group calendars to organize collaboration in any workspace. Group calendars are stored in workspaces.

  My bookmarks provide direct access to important objects. This personal data area contains the bookmarks you have created.

  MyTemplates contains templates for frequently used objects (e.g. documents or folder structures) that you have defined for copying, and metadata profiles that you have defined in addition to the predefined system profiles  .
