BSCW Desktop is typically started from within BSCW when you upload a new document, e.g. via File New Document in the top menu. BSCW will automatically launch the BSCW Desktop application and enable convenient file upload to the current location.
Alternatively, you may also start BSCW Desktop directly from your operating system (e.g. from the Windows start menu or the Windows Desktop). This approach allows you to select a remote folder in BSCW for file upload without having to login to BSCW first.
