Export metadata attributes

You can save and export the metadata attributes of documents, contacts, tasks, and flow folders of a folder in the form of a comma-separated .csv file. Subfolders, sub-subfolders, etc. are also searched. In addition to the metadata, access path and BSCW object ID are output for each object in the file.

•      Select  Send to Metadata CSV File in the context menu of the folder.

•      In the 'Export metadata' action form, you can select the attributes you want to export: tick complete metadata profiles or expand a profile and select individual attributes for export. For user-defined metadata profiles, only the new attributes are offered for export.

•      Optionally, you can download the metadata file directly, save it to the clipboard or to the folder itself.

This way you can further process metadata with a spreadsheet program, for example. You can also invoke the action with  Send to Metadata CSV File in the context menu of a folder.
