Export to PDF

You can export print views of many container objects, i.e. objects that can contain other objects, in PDF format. Examples are folders and similar object types such as wiki, projects or flow folders, where a list of entries is generated. For discussion forums and blogs, the PDF view also includes the contents of the notes and blog entries. For contact lists, you can specify which contact information should be included in the print view.

Select  Send to File (PDF) in the context menu of the object whose print view you want to export as a PDF document. If this menu item is missing, then you cannot create a print view in PDF for this object type.

For some object types you can make further specifications in the context menu 'PDF export'. For example, for folders you can select whether you also want to include the descriptions of the entries in the print view, and for contact lists you can select which information you want to include in the print view in addition to the name. For calendars you can choose a print view (month, week, list) and define the period for which you want to have calendar data printed. Click on [OK] to generate the PDF document. You will then be asked whether you want to save the document on your computer or open it with a suitable program.

For object types where no further information is required, such as discussion forums or blogs, the PDF view will open in a form from where you can print it or save it to your computer.
