If you have forgotten your password, you cannot access your BSCW workspaces anymore - and therefore, of course, you cannot change your password as described above.
For exactly this emergency, BSCW offers the following procedure:
•Open the entry page of your BSCW server (on the public BSCW server this is https://public.bscw.de/pub) and click on the reference "Forgot password?" to register a new password with your BSCW server. The normal registration form also contains this reference.
•In the following action form, enter an email address that BSCW has already associated with your name (e.g. your primary email address) and confirm with [OK].
•BSCW will then send a message to the given email address containing the URL of a form where you may set a new password.
