A corresponding file is sent to your web browser, which can then be imported by such calendar programs to take the appointment. You can also export all appointments of a calendar by selecting in the context menu of the calendar.
• Event data in iCalendar format (MIME type text/calendar
,
Windows file suffix *.ics) may also be uploaded to a BSCW calendar.
• says your participation in the appointment (offered only if you are invited as a participant and have not yet committed).
• your participation in the appointment (offered only if you are invited as a participant and have not yet canceled).
• cancels the whole appointment, i.e. the status of the appointment is set to 'canceled', all participants are notified about the cancellation of the appointment by email and any scheduled reminders are overridden. Cancel an appointment removes the appointment from the calendar where you performed the action. By default, this action is available- only for managers.
• lets you edit the various details of an appointment.
• lets you add a document, URL or note as an attachment to an appointment. The presence of attachments is indicatedby the icon in the day and week view. Document and URL attachments to appointments are treated as attachments to notes, attached notes are added to the attachment folder as single notes.
• creates a reference in your personal calendar to an appointment in a group calendar.
The remaining actions in the context menu of an appointment are generic functions that have the same behavior for appointments as for other objects.
