For certain objects you can define about which events concerning this object and possibly objects contained in it you want to be notified in a special way. To do this, call in the context menu of the object. The 'Change notifications' form has sections for all event services that you have enabled in the default options.
For each service you have enabled, you can select the types of events you want to be notified about with that service. You have the choice to either inherit the options from the parent folder or make specific settings by using the checkboxes provided for this purpose. If no specific notification options have been set in parent folder, the inherited options will be the default options. In this case, the corresponding selection will be labeled 'Apply default options', while otherwise it will say 'Use inherited settings'.
If the notification options for the current object have been changed (for at least one event service the selection 'Select special settings' is made), you can undo these changes by clicking on [Reset]. Afterwards, the settings of the parent folder apply again - or the default options if no specific notification options have been set in any parent folder.
Event services can only be enabled or disabled as a whole in the default notification options. If you want to use an event service for the current object that has not been activated in the default options, click [Change default options]. After you have changed the default options accordingly, return to the 'Change notifications' action form to set the individual notification options for the current object.
Warning: All changes in the 'Change Notifications' form will be lost if you click [Change Default Options].
A setting of the notification options that differs from the options of the parent folder is indicated by the icon at the affected object entry. Click this icon to view or change the notification options.
