You may send email messages directly to a BSCW folder if this folder allows it. Such email messages may contain any attachments and are stored in BSCW as objects of type email message according to Internet standard RFC 822.
For example, you can easily create a complete email archive of your project by adding the email address of a folder to your email distribution list. The members of your project team now no longer need to store all important email messages in their own email systems.
Email dispatch is also a convenient way to contribute documents to BSCW workspaces - as an alternative to uploading these documents via the Web-based user interface.
