BSCW bookmarks are links to Web pages and also to BSCW objects that are of personal interest to you. Your bookmark folder is a personal object where you may collect these references similar to web browsers.
•Click on in the
navigation tree to open your bookmarks
folder. You can now
add new references with .
In any other folders, references to BSCW objects may
be added to the bookmark folder with

Within the bookmark folder, the references can be
structured into subfolders, sub-subfolders, etc. by creating corresponding
subfolder structures using
 .
This is done in the same way as for normal folders. Note that bookmarks can only
exist in the bookmark folder. You can move bookmarks and bookmark subfolders
anywhere in the bookmark folder, but not to other folders.
BSCW bookmarks can be exported to the so-called Netscape bookmark format and then imported to other browsers that support this format (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera or Safari).
•Select

to archive all your bookmarks in Netscape format. Download this archive to your
local computer, unpack the contained HTML file with your bookmarks and import
these bookmarks into your browser.
•You can also perform this operation for a part of your bookmarks by
selecting individual bookmark subfolders and clicking on
 in the
multi-selection toolbar.
This export feature is especially useful for users who frequently use foreign computers - e.g. on business trips. As soon as they use a new computer, they may first download and install their BSCW bookmarks. This way they always have their familiar BSCW bookmark environment available.
