Open documents and document preview

To display the contents of a document in the contents list of a folder,

•      click on the name of the corresponding object entry,

•      double-click on the line, or

•      select  the context menu of the document.

The behavior when opening a document depends on your personal settings (see below) as well as on browser, operating system, the installed plugins and your browser configuration. For example, for PDF documents you can set whether they should be displayed in the browser (in a so-called PDF plug-in) or directly in the Adobe PDF reader.

If you want to open a document that your web browser cannot display, you can download the corresponding file and then open it with a suitable application.

The full-screen preview contains buttons in the header to [Download], [Edit] (as far as this is possible) and to return to the folder view. You can also use the two arrows at the edge of the header to browse all documents in the current folder for which there is a preview.
