Appointment scheduling helps to find an acceptable date for a joint meeting. The organizer creates a scheduling request, specifying the possible dates and the intended participants. Not only registered BSCW users but also other persons may participate. The participants are notified by email and can then vote on the proposed dates until the voting period has expired. The organizer will set a final date depending on the outcome of the voting. All participants will be informed about this date, which they may transfer to a BSCW calendar or another calendar system.
